Venue Info

Abersoch is a small surf village on the Llyn Peninsular in North Wales where you will find everything you need for a great week away. There is a great holiday atmosphere, good restaurants and cafes, lovely beaches and scenery which will make for a great Nationals in 2011!

There are a number of clothes shops, a bank, a deli, a Post Office, a couple of grocery shops, a butcher and a newsagents. All ideal for a holiday village, although there is a larger supermarket in Pwhelli which is about a 15 minute drive. Some lovely cafes serving small bites and coffees thrive whatever the weather and restaurants are always busy during the peak seasons (I would advise to book early).

Most people drink and socialise at the Yacht club although there are a couple of pubs in the centre ‘The Tuds’ and ‘The Vaynol’. Both pubs have a good atmosphere and also do food.

Abersoch main beach is full of people – it’s busy, fun and there is always lots to do. However, if you want something a bit quieter, around the corner is ‘Fach Farm Beach’, which leads down past ‘The Warren‘. The beach has beautiful sand, lovely views of Snowdonia and the Tudwall Islands. Also 10 minutes drive away is Hell’s Mouth which is a favourite for surfing.
